Mr. Enwer Hoshur is the one of the imprisoned Uyghur writers, he is now serving his 20 years of prison terms in Keriye, Hoten. His writings got awarded, he influenced thousands of Uyghurs students in Hoten. He was appointed high position in educational departments of Hoten Pedagogical college.
Enwer Hoshur was born on December 24, 1969, in Keriye County. After completing primary and secondary school in Keriye and Hotan, he began his study in the Language and Literature Faculty of Kashgar Pedagogical Institute in September 1987. When he graduated, he started his teaching career in the Language and Literature Faculty of Hotan Pedagogical Junior College. He continued his education at the Minority Language and Literature Institute of the Central National University from September 2001 to July 2002. From 2002 to 2004, he studied Chinese language and literature at the postgraduate class of Xinjiang Pedagogical University. In 2005, he received the title of associate professor.
Enwer’s literature writing work began when he was in college. He has published more than 90 articles such as “Market Challenges and the way for Our Literature”, “Dangerous Third Stage”, “Don´t we have Philosopher Writers and Poets?”, “Thoughts born from what to write and how to write”, “Skills and Techniques in Literature Creativity”, and “Get Promoted, but with Pride”; He also issued more than 40 stories and novels including “What to Say”, “Eyes of the heart”, “Festival Costumes”, “Sick”, “Scissor”, “Chuluk´s Watermelon”, “Rapture”, “Last Choice”, “Weak Breath” and a collection of essays and reviews entitled “Creativity and Life”. His articles “What to Write and How to Write” and “About the Novel Creation for Young Writers” received “The Hangtengri Literature Award”. The “Market Challenges and the Way for Our Literature”, “Dangerous Third Stage”, “From Thinking of Absent Mother to Magic Flute”, “Zunun Qadir’s story creation in the 1940s”, ” Heart of Darkness ” and his other works have won various awards. Enwer supervised four research papers on literary history and literary phenomena until they were complete.
He is currently a member of the Autonomous Region Writers’ Association and the Hotan Prefecture Writers’ Association and is a member of the Hotan Prefecture Literature and Artists’ Association.
