He had also filed official complaints about the conditions in Xinjiang with the central government in Beijing. According to a staff member at the Urumchi Intermediate People’s Court, quoted by RFA, Ghalip Qurban has been removed from his post six to twelve months ago (as of 18 Dec 2018).
