The family is from Kashgar (so likely there). Citizen Truth (Testimony 3): In June 2017, Fatimah’s mother and sister called to say that they were being “taken to the hospital”. visiting Turkey in 2015 Fatimah suspects that she is in a “re-education” camp. She was in good health (no mental issues, chronic illnesses) when Fatimah last saw her.
Update: in August 2019, Fatimah posted a tweet that showed a photo of her mother and her brother’s family, which seems to suggest that she’s been released.

Very likely in Kashgar. According to an interview given by Fatimah to “Citizen Truth”, her mother and sister called her in June 2017 to say that they were being “taken to the hospital”. They appear to have been released sometime in 2019. Visiting Turkey in 2015. In August 2019, Fatimah posted a tweet that shows a photo of her mother with Fatimah’s brother’s family, which seems to suggest that her mother has been released. From relatives in the region. Fatimah’s friend in China was also able to call and contact the family. In her video testimony, the victim’s daughter mentions that they last made contact on January 28, 2016.

3088 Reyhansem Abla 热牙尼沙·阿不拉 652924196909200048 A human being who has no more patience for what is happening to the people he cares about. Friend Reyhansem Abla, wife of Gheni Hoshur. Chinese name: 热牙尼沙·阿不拉, 49 years old, Uyghur, lives in Urumchi.
She is a law-abiding Chinese citizen, a well-educated lady, can speak fluent Chinese, does not need any “re-education”.
She got her bachelor degree from Xinjiang University of Finance & Economics. She worked as an accountant in the state-owned company for many years, and retired due to the health problem.
She has been to abroad only twice with her husband, to Australia and South Korea with the company trip, with all Chinese colleagues.
I believe her passport was confiscated between May to September 2017. And she was taken to the detention center in September 2017. Since then, I have not heard anything from her. I don’t even know if she is still alive.
She has not committed any crime, she is one of the kindest, nicest ladies on the earth. I demand China immediately release her!
